Really excellent toaster! January 9, 2010 Happy Shopper 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This toaster does exactly what it says it will on the box. It gives perfect results whether using one slot or all four. It keeps the toast warm for a few minutes rather than popping it out, which in a busy kitchen at breakfast time is such a good idea. The only thing I need mention is that it doesn't like the tall 'Warburtons Toastie - Kingsmill' size of bread. Even taking that into consideration I still feel it deserves all 5 stars. Expensive, but as the previous reviewer said...you get what you pay for!!
Very pleased July 5, 2010 Mrs KPS I've wanted one for ages and due to the excellent price I was able to treat myself!! I am very pleased with the toast and would recommend it to a friend.
Dualit 47180 June 15, 2010 A. Whittaker (London) This was purchased as a replacement for an old family friend which finally gave up the ghost and shows every indication of performing just as well. The robust manufacture makes it able to stand up to the rigors of family life and we all like the bagel setting which is new. The ability to go from one slice to four and control the exact level of toasting works well
What a toaster December 28, 2009 Christine tipping (wales) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent service product dispatch promptly and what a smashing toaster - pricey but you get what you pay for.
Bulky and over priced but a quality toaster July 23, 2010 Chris WRIGHT (Twickenham, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
On the down side it's got a bigger 'footprint' on my kitchen worktop than pretty much any other 4 slice toaster. It is also pricey - you are largely paying for the style and the name. But it works well, and the design features have been carefully thought through, so much so, that I'm hoping this will be the last toaster I ever buy. The heating elements do not have exposed wires - all of my previous toasters went pop when carbonised toast shorted them out, so hopefully that will not be a problem here. Additionally, the heating elements are replaceable (have a search, and you'll find them very reasonably priced), so even when they do inevitably go, I won't have to scrap the whole toaster. Being able to choose how many slots you want to heat is great, as is the ability to have a quick peak at the toast without interrupting the timer.
